The Challenge

Industries from manufacturing to retail to security were relying on human eyes to review images and video footage — a process that was slow, expensive, inconsistent, and impossible to scale. Quality control inspectors could only check a fraction of output, CCTV operators missed incidents due to fatigue, and medical imaging teams faced backlogs that delayed diagnoses. The scale of visual data being generated had simply outpaced human capacity to analyse it.

Our Approach

We built computer vision systems using a combination of pre-trained foundation models and custom-trained classifiers fine-tuned on client-specific imagery. The pipeline from ingestion to insight was fully automated, with configurable confidence thresholds and alert mechanisms ensuring human review was reserved for edge cases rather than routine analysis. Camera-agnostic design meant our systems integrated with existing hardware without costly upgrades.

Key Features

Our computer vision platform includes real-time object detection and classification, anomaly detection for quality control applications, facial and behavioural analysis for security environments, video stream processing with event-based alerting, and dashboard reporting that surfaces actionable visual insights. Explainability overlays highlight which visual regions drove each model decision, supporting compliance and operator trust.

Impact & Results

A manufacturing client reduced defect escape rates by 85% after deploying automated visual quality inspection on their production line, eliminating a category of warranty claim almost entirely. In a retail deployment, footfall pattern analysis informed a store layout redesign that increased conversion by 18%. Security clients reported a significant reduction in incident response times thanks to real-time behavioural alerting.

What's Next

We are developing 3D point cloud analysis capabilities to extend computer vision into robotics and autonomous navigation use cases. Thermal and hyperspectral imaging integration is also on the roadmap, opening applications in agriculture, infrastructure inspection, and medical diagnostics that go beyond what standard optical cameras can reveal.
